When you place a pre-order or sign up for updates, we may collect:

- Shipping address
- Payment information — processed securely by Stripe (we never see or store your card details)
- Order details (what you ordered, when, how much you paid)
How We Use Your Data
- Order fulfilment: Processing your pre-order, shipping your eyemask, handling refunds.
- Communication: Sending you updates on your order, production progress, and shipping notifications.
- Marketing: Occasional emails about Dream Bug — new products, restocks, behind-the-scenes. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Third Parties
We use a small number of trusted services to run Dream Bug:

We do not sell your data to anyone. Ever. These services only receive the data they need to do their job.
Cookies
Our website may use basic analytics cookies. We don't use invasive tracking. If we add analytics in the future, we'll update this policy.
Data Retention
- Customers: We keep your order data for as long as needed to fulfil your order and meet our legal obligations (tax records, etc.), typically up to 7 years.
- Email subscribers: We keep your email until you unsubscribe. After that, we remove it from our active lists within 30 days.
Your Rights
You can ask us to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your data (subject to legal obligations)
New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020 gives you these rights. If you're based in another country, your local privacy laws may give you additional rights — we'll do our best to honour them.
